Profile

Dialah Hutabalian is a leadership coach and facilitator who walks alongside leaders and organizations as they navigate the often messy, complex challenges of growth. He developed a collaborative approach called Generative Leadership Coaching, which gently encourages leaders to bring an open mind, open heart, and open will into their daily work—helping both corporate teams and local communities find natural, creative ways forward. While he brings a warm, down-to-earth presence to his conversations, Dialah’s practice is grounded in reliable expertise; he holds the PCC and ACTC credentials from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is certified as a Gallup Strengths Coach and Lumina Practitioner. Over the years, he has been grateful for the opportunity to serve, whether facilitating the Leadership Making Indonesia 4.0 Program with LEMHANNAS RI (2018–2022), exploring public policy at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (2025), or studying conflict management through the ADBI-ADB Alternative Dispute Resolution course (2025–2026). Believing that a coach is simply a fellow traveler on the path of learning, he has enjoyed sharpening his craft with the Presencing Institute (2024–2025) and learning from mentor Simon Priest (2025). For Dialah, coaching isn't about having all the answers, but about listening deeply, celebrating the quiet breakthroughs of his coachees, and finding genuine joy in the simple, human act of sharing knowledge.
